Mission

The Coalition to End Animal Suffering is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of companion animals by addressing pet overpopulation and unnecessarily cruel euthanasia practices through public education, legislative advocacy and personal action.

Public Education
We want to remove the economic incentives that perpetuate cruel animal breeding practices by teaching the public about their unwitting role in supporting puppy mills.

We have public speakers available to address issues regarding:

  • Puppy mills
  • Neuter vaccine
  • Humane euthanasia

We can also work with businesses that currently receive animals from puppy mills.  Pet stores across the nation are changing to business models that support responsible breeding practices and pet adoption.

Legislative Advocacy
Our goal is to partner with other animal welfare groups to support laws that outlaw puppy mills and stop inhumane euthanasia practices.

Personal Action
Our efforts to improve animal welfare through legislation will take time.  To help animals in need now, we are committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming as many dogs are possible.
